Hello! Thanks for visiting my "About Me" page. If you are like me, it is always nice to know a little bit about the people I converse with instead of just the virtual existence of someone through the web and/or e-mail.
I decided to do an "About Me" page because I think it's nice to share not only my astrophotography exploits but a little about my life also.
I am married with two beautiful daughters, Leah and Molly. They are great kids and already show interest in their fathers hobby. They are a little young to stay up all night with their dad but I will be taking them with me on a couple of outings this summer.
My wife, Susie, is not as interested in my hobby as my kids but to her credit she never complains about any of it (well, almost never :-). She is everything to me and I couldn't imagine a day without her in my life. She also brings a great extended family to my life and I enjoy the time we all spend together.
My family is a little more spread out. My older sister, Vicki, lives in Connecticut and my little brother, Steve, lives in L.A. (with their significant others and kids). I am lucky enough to live near my parents and little sister, Terri.
I live in a moderately light polluted city of Littleton, Colorado (a suburb of Denver). Our house is great and since it is on the edge of the metropolitan area I do have decent views of the southern skies. It is only 1 hour away from fairly dark skies (~6.5 mag) so I really can't complain.
